My dad came home from Beijing this weekend, and after an intense 10-day work week he really needed some R&R. And the gods of Stockholm graced us with amazing weather to welcome him home. The ONLY way to spend warm sunny days in Stockholm in my eyes is spending it on Djurgården. It's the old royal park just east of where I live and its beautiful and we weren't the only ones enjoying the last glimpses of Summer. Because...as sad as it does make me Swedish summer isn't that long of an engagement, winter steals the show and a much longer love affair occurs from about September-March. Anyways, here are some photos that my dad took with his camera (so tech-savvy these days!) and I've got my busan back (boyfriend's dog)
The walk ended with burgers at Strandbryggan, if you've followed my blog a while you know I never say no to an opportunity to go there, I love the vibe and just everything about the place (except certain fellow customers)
...oh and I actually don't like their big boat they have moored right in front of the best place to sit - it blocks the view and makes you feel shut in a little corner. not good Strandbryggan! Show it off somewhere else please
Now I'm off to watch the VMA's re-run on swedish MTV - Justin Timberlake right now, AMAZING!
Tomorrow I'm heading out to Filip's country house with my boyfriend and friend Andre to set up for his birthday-crayfish party - more about that when I get back!
